Michael H. Pearson is a partner and civil litigator in the firm’s Los Angeles office, focusing on complex litigation, class actions, and consumer protection. Mr. Pearson has extensive experience in representing clients in a variety of contexts. He has served as a member of the litigation team in multiple cases that resulted in class certification or a classwide settlement, including cases that involved business litigation, complex financial products, high-technology products, consumer safety, and false and misleading advertising. Specifically, he was instrumental in managing the review of tens of millions of documents and drafting pleadings inIn Re Credit Default Swaps Antitrust Litigation, which was settled for $1.86 billion, plus injunctive relief.

Mr. Pearson received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University in 2008, majoring in Finance with an Energy Specialization. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2011. Mr. Pearson is an active member in a number of legal organizations, including the American, Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations, Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Pearson’s success has earned him recognition by his peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (representing the top 2.5% of lawyers in Southern California age 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less) in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
