Pearson Warshaw, LLP (“PW”) is proud to announce that the American Antitrust Institute selected the firm as an honoree for “Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Private Law Practice” in connection with PW’s work on the groundbreaking In re: NCAA Athletic Grant-in-Aid Cap Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Cal. Case No. 14-md-2541-CW).

PW attorneys Bruce Simon, Benjamin Shiftan, Matthew Pearson, and Alexander Simon led PW’s work on the case on behalf of current and former college football and basketball players challenging the NCAA’s compensation rules under federal antitrust law. PW and co-counsel secured not only a $208 million damages settlement but also a trial victory during the injunctive relief portion of the case.
